Vinnie Steele was dedicated to building and improving disc golf courses starting back in 1998, including the central Massachusetts favorites at Buffumville Dam, Hodges Village, West Thompson, Pyramids, Maple Hill and Flatrock. Vin ran multiple weekly leagues for many years at Buffumville. He was also a disc golf ambassador, who excelled at making people of all genders and and skill levels feel welcome. He could not meet somebody without giving them a disc or two to get them started.
