Negotiated with the owner of Sunridge Development in 1989 to run an annual event at Hunt's Mean 18.

TD for a number of tournaments in the early 1990s, including the NH States at Hunt's Mean 18 in 1990 and the 1992 Borderland Spring Fling tournaments
Describe the nominee's involvement as a Grow the Sport ambassador:
- Co-founder of NEFA in 1988, President 1988-1992, Membership Manager, 1988-2015
- Contributed articles, editorship and overall guidance to the NEFA News - 1988-1998
- PDGA Course Directory Editor from 1986 to 2001, publishing 13 printed editions
- PDGA Financial Director, 1992-93
- PDGA Volunteer of the Year, 1995
- Photographer for 2015 PDGA Pro Worlds in Pittsburgh and 2015 Green Mountain Championships in VT, with photographs featured in Disc Golfer magazine
- Taught “Introduction to Frisbee Sports” to the North Reading School system phys ed classes, 1999-2002
Describe the nominee's involvement as a Player ambassador:
Steve joined the PDGA in 1983. To date he has played in 55 career PDGA events with 8 wins. He competed in the PDGA World Championships in 1987, 1988, 1993 and 1997-2000. He has played in dozens of local tournaments throughout the years, but has scaled back in the past 10 years due to health issues.

Steve has contributed to the growth of disc golf on a local, regional and national level for over 35 years. He helped lead NEFA from its infancy to a viable organization to promote flying disc sports in New England. He continues his involvement now as NEFA's historian, creating and enhancing the NEFA History website at https://nefahistory.com.
